진주목공예전수관

Jinju Wood-Craft Transmission Center is a public craft center in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, set up to teach and preserve traditional Korean wood-craft techniques — including the hand-tool-based joinery, lacquer-finish, and inlay traditions associated with the southern Gyeongsang region. The center combines an open workshop space where master artisans work in residence, a small exhibition hall displaying both historic Joseon-era pieces and contemporary craft works by resident artisans, and a public-classroom program that runs short workshops for general visitors on basic woodworking, small-box making, and inlay decoration. The center sits inside Jinju's broader cultural-craft promotion network and is best treated as a 60-minute craft-focused stop on a wider Jinju cultural day, ideally bundled with the Jinju Castle and Nam River walking circuit.
