Jaman Mural Village

Jaman Mural Village is a hillside mural village adjacent to the Jeonju Hanok Village, set on the slope above the hanok streets where a working residential neighborhood was preserved through the city's hanok-village heritage planning and converted into a continuous mural-art lane. Local artists and the city worked together to paint murals along the alleys, stairs, and old building walls, with the murals themed around Korean folktales, historical figures, and Jeonju cultural identity. The walking route threads narrow alleys, courtyard houses, small artist studios, and cafés, with views back toward the hanok-village landscape visible from many points. Best paired with the Jeonju Hanok Village circuit, typically as an extension that adds the mural-village walking lane to the broader hanok visit.
