Jinyangho Park

Jinyangho Park surrounds the Jinyang Reservoir in northern Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, combining a lakeside observation tower, a small zoo, walking and cycling trails, and an observatory cafe. The view from the tower across the reservoir to the surrounding mountains is the headline scene — especially at sunset and during the autumn foliage season. The small zoo houses around 40 species and works mainly as a family attraction, while the trails offer kilometers of low-traffic walking. The October Jinju Lantern Festival lights up the city skyline visible across the water. Allow three hours for the park, longer if you include the zoo. Pair with Jinjuseong Fortress in central Jinju.
