Junam Eco-Learning Center

Junam Reservoir Eco-Learning Center in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, is the dedicated public visitor center on Junam Reservoir — a Ramsar Convention site and one of the most important winter migratory-bird wetlands in East Asia, with about 100,000 birds wintering here each year (whooper swans, white-fronted geese, baikal teal, and several endangered species). The center combines a substantial natural-history museum with bilingual interpretation, observation decks looking over the wetland, and walking paths through the reservoir-side reeds. Best in November-February for migratory bird watching. Free entry. About 2 hours including the walking trail. Pair with the broader Changwon area attractions like Upo Wetlands.
