Yeongheung Arboretum is a major public arboretum in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, set on Yeongheung Island as a regional botanical-garden destination. The arboretum spans themed botanical zones with planted seasonal flowers and trees, walking paths threading the various themed zones, viewing decks, and supporting visitor infrastructure. The Yeongheung Island location provides the surrounding coastal-and-natural landscape that gives the arboretum its distinctive setting. Best in spring through autumn for the strongest seasonal landscape, paired with broader Hwaseong-and-Daebudo coastal itineraries.
