동문헌책도서관

Dongmun Heonchaek Library (Dongmun Used-Book Library) is a public used-book library in Jeonju, dedicated to preserving used and out-of-print Korean books — particularly second-hand titles donated by community members and rotated through the collection. The library functions as both a free reading space and a curated archive of Korean publishing history that captures titles which would otherwise be lost from regular library circulation. Inside, age-grouped reading areas combine with a long second-hand-book browse section, a small lecture-and-program room, and seating built for actual on-site reading. Programming includes weekend reading clubs, free children's storytime, and occasional book-collection donation drives. For travelers it pairs naturally with a Jeonju Hanok Village walking circuit and serves as a quiet cultural counterpart to the busier hanok streets.
